“Entered at a similar price level to the NZXT Beta, the Gamma is more refined and more appealing. Sure, both cases share a few common features; they have stand-out front fascias with the rest of the chassis is left relatively simple, an all-black exterior and interior, and just a single 120mm fan each. However, the Gamma is the better enclosure. Dust filters accompany all the intake fan areas and a CPU backplate cut-out is evident alongside several other cable routing gaps.  Whilst we’re still not too keen on the idea of a case arriving with just a single fan, the Gamma is a lot closer in build quality and design to the Antec Two Hundred. 8 times out of 10 we’d probably still go for the latter as well but the Gamma certainly has something to offer in the £30 bracket.”

“NZXT has accomplished a fine balance here between aesthetics, functionality, quality, and price with the Gamma. For gamers on a budget, we think this case offers excellent value and is a great option.”

“Gamma Classic is a very well built case even though it is a bit on the heavy side. It offers a great air flow performance as well as the ability of adding on up to six fans in to the case. I am not sure why would you want six fans, but perhaps for over clockers it would be a must. We have discovered that Gamma Classic is water cooler ready and has two options to install water cooling radiators. In addition Gamma Classic has numerous wire routing ways which help to organize the wires with in the case. If you are a gamer, then you would definitely benefit from the front panel of this case as it has the entire essential hookup for a LAN party. On top of these great features Gamma Classic provides its users with a unique and stylish look that will make people stop by and check out your case.”

“Bottom line: whether you are using the Gamma for a top-secret government experiment or just to play the latest MMORPG, you really cannot go wrong with this case. Once again NZXT has proven that just because a case might be considered entry-level does not mean you have to sacrifice quality and features. P.S. Neither HTL nor NZXT can be held liable if you turn into a green behemoth. If that happens, you might want to check your math.”

“NZXT has impressed us again, and this time on the budget level. With a hint of style, a price point of around $60 at the time of writing, supported by decent (and expandable) performance, I would recommend the Gamma to anyone looking for an affordable yet unique case.”

“The NZXT Gamma is a overall a decent case for the price. It can easily be found online for around $29.99. While it’s obviously not the most advanced case available, it does provide plenty of features of more expensive gaming cases. The complete black paint job makes it ideal for many gamers. The only problem with this case is that there is only a single fan to fill up the possible six fan slots. Overall ThinkComputers awards the NZXT Gamma Mid Tower Case a 9 out of 10 score.”

“For a $49 case, NZXT has a bundle of usable features that can provide you with a good solid build and allow you to spend some money on the high performance parts that really matter. Good looks, NZXT quality, and great features are all in this economical package.”

“If you are planning a build in the future and are looking to save a bit of hard earned cash in the case department, seriously consider the Gamma. You can thank me later.”

“I was not expecting the NZXT Gamma to bring the kind of quality to the table that it showed up with. The solid build make this case worth more than what is asked for it. The armored finish will stand up to years of abuse and is ideal for a LAN-party build. This case is by no means flashy, and is for the utilitarian builder or the gamer who wants to build a "sleeper" rig. The most attractive aspect of this case is price. I have not seen a case at the $50 price point that brings this level of quality. All the most recent case design innovations are included without the price tag that usually go along with them. Most of the time you see my system housed in a larger windowed case with some LEDs and full-tower size. After today, if you happen by the house, you will find my beast slumbering under the black satin exterior of the NZXT Gamma.”

“In conclusion, it's pretty hard not to like this case - especially when you consider the price. For $50, you're not going to find a better case that can hold a bunch of drives, support long graphics cards, hold a monster PSU and provide excellent ventilation and easy heatsink installation (hole in motherboard tray). ”

“I am still befuddled by the riddle of how NZXT fit so many features into this case and can still sell it for under $50. I highly recommend the Gamma Mid-Tower Computer case for anyone at any level of computing prowess. You will not be disappointed.”

“So how did this case stack up? In my opinion, and in most people’s minds, this case did really well. From its sleek sexy look, and massive blowing power this case is a no brainer. The NZXT Gamma Chassis price is competetive and it has the potential to keep most anything cool. Would I recommend this case? Yes, yes I would. For gamers that like to have massive amounts of storage or multiple backups this case would be perfect. Hell this case would make a great server without going to the extent of having a rack mount home server or small office server. I think that the design and looks of this case are appealing though not eye popping. From the placement of the power, reset, and front mounted ports to the sleek LEDs placed on the front panel it is a winner. The NZXT Gamma would be a great option for any gamer or home office.”

“I love the fact that the official floppy access is gone; hopefully this is a staying trend. Death to floppies. The ability to set up six drives on a raid or three drives with HDD coolers is pretty sweet, allowing a range of possibilities on how much storage you can have with or without extra cooling. The built in water cooling tube access is a nice touch, a true sign that NZXT looks out for their gamer brethren. Overall, the sleek look and sharp edges make this a great case for any medium custom build. Murdered out with attitude.”

“Costing only USD 50 NZXT Gamma provides the best bang for your buck if you are on budget and are looking for a good mid-tower case that supports several fans. If you would like to have a transparent side panel, then you can pay USD 10 more and get M59, but M59 comes with fewer places for installing fans. Of course in order to reduce the price the manufacturer only included one fan, but this case supports up to six of them.”

“If you're in the market for an affordable mid-tower gaming case with great styling, lots of drive bays, plenty of places to install fans, black interior and a hole on the motherboard tray to access the coolers retention plate, then this might just be the case for you.”
