Featuring eight lockable bays for 3.5″ and 2.5″ SATA III drives, an Intel Celeron 1.6 GHz Quad-Core processor, 4GB of DDR3L memory, and built-in AES-NI hardware encryption, this enclosure provides businesses and tech enthusiasts with a flexible and secure storage solution for documents, photos, videos, and more. You can also use the NAS as an in-house multimedia server that delivers 1080p video to connected devices. The AS6208T has four Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast data transfers, with read and write speeds over 398 MB/s and 355 MB/s respectively in RAID 5 configuration. RAID 5 read and write speeds with hardware encryption enabled are 360 MB/s and 200 MB/s.
You can further expand both the storage and functionality of the enclosure by connecting external devices to its three USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, and two eSATA ports. Additionally, the AS6208T supports a variety of backup solutions, including integrating external storage devices with cloud-based services to provide you with multiple redundancies to help protect your data. The NAS works with Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
