Built to deliver condenser-like audio performance without the noise for podcasters, streamers, and content creators, the Wave DX Dynamic Microphone from Elgato features a forgiving cardioid polar pattern for unidirectional pickup and a stronger-than-average output signal, so you can get powerful sound without the need for in-line mic activators. With a frequency response specifically tuned for the human voice and an optimized proximity effect that makes it easier than ever to move the mic in close for full, rich-sounding vocal recordings, this mic is an ideal choice for the modern content producer.
The Wave DX sports an internal pop filter that greatly reduces plosives during recording as well as a hardened steel chassis that enhances durability and reduces internal noise artifacts. This microphone includes an adjustable 5/8″ swiveling yoke mount that is compatible with all boom arms and avoids cable jamming, and the mic also comes with 3/8 and 1/4″ adapters for mounting onto more traditional microphone stands.
