Expand your network’s storage capacity for backups and personal cloud storage using the TS-231K 2-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP. Up to two 2.5″ / 3.5″ SATA III drives may be installed in RAID 0, 1, JBOD, and Single configurations to share files across your network and backup your data. With its 1.7 GHz ARM AL-214 quad-core processor and 1GB of DDR3 memory, this NAS enclosure is designed to deliver up to 219 MB/s sequential read and 222 MB/s write speeds. Use it to backup important files, stream media, and sync data with both local devices and cloud services. With Snapshot technology, you can quickly restore your data after a system crash or accidental file deletion. The TS-231K connects to your network through two Gigabit Ethernet ports that have link aggregation failover and load balancing support. Additionally, you can secure volumes with AES 256-bit encryption. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are available on the enclosure for compatible peripherals such as additional storage devices and 5G Ethernet adapters. Its compact, minimalist design allows the TS-231K to fit into almost any environment and its lockable bays help drives stay securely enclosed. This NAS uses the QTS operating system to manage its configuration, data, and run supported applications.
